Object Description
Boucheron Burmese ruby and diamond cocktail ring. Set to the centre with six round old cut natural unenhanced Burmese rubies in open back claw settings with a total approximate weight of 1.50 carats, further set with fourteen round eight cut diamonds in open back rubover and grain settings with a total approximate weight of 0.35 carats, to a floral cocktail ring design featuring polished edges, a heavy angular bezel and shaped open backholing, leading to trumpeting shoulders and flowing through to a solid flat tapering shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, signed ‘Boucheron Paris’, indistinct maker’s mark, French, circa 1945, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #79194-53.
