Object Description
An elegant and collectable pair of vintage Boucheron cufflinks. The cufflinks comprise a doubled length of braid chain that passes through the cuff hole and attaches on the other side to the solid clasp, which stay firmly closed from the tension of the cuff fabric. The clasps are set at either end with a rich blue sapphire cabochon. Each cufflink is stamped with French 18K gold marks, the master goldsmith’s mark and a serial number, and is signed “Boucheron.”
Cut: Round cabochon sapphires.
Carat: Each of the four cabochon sapphires is approximate 0.25 carat: 1.00 carat total.
Circa: 1950.
Measurements: The linking bar is 23.1mm. The chain is 2.35mm.
Weight: The combined weight of both cufflinks is 11.66 grams.
Metal: 18k gold. French hallmarks.
