Brown Westhead Moore and Co Majolica Peaches Vase

Object Description

Brown Westhead Moore and Co Majolica vase which features deeply raised peaches hanging on a blossoming branch to the front. Plums to the reverse. Loop handles either side. Brown ground version. Colouration: brown, green, yellow, are predominant. The piece bears maker’s marks for the Brown Westhead Moore and Co pottery. Bears a pattern number, ‘1288 31’.

Object Condition

Good. RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched crack to the rim.
