A Gilt and Ebonised Aesthetic Arts & Crafts Period Writing Desk attributed to Bruce James Talbert with a fitted galleried superstructure with 2 sets of three drawers and a central concealed shelf with a central Enamel Plaque of Emperor Augustus above a mirrored recess. The desk with 3 drawers, its original Morocco leather raised on tapering legs with gilt stringing, supported by a stretcher and on brass castors.
