Object Description
Burmese sapphire and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old mine natural unenhanced Burmese sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 3.06 carats, encircled by thirty two round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.32 carats, to an impressive coronet cluster with polished edges, an intricately pierced basketed gallery featuring scrolling motifs and open backholing, the raised diamond set shoulders with millegrain decoration, flowing to a solid flat shank. Tested platinum, circa 1920, accompanied by a Gemmological Certification Services report #79187-43.
