Object Description
Burmese sapphire and diamond ring. Set to centre with one cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Burmese sapphire in an open back four claw setting with an approximate weight of 3.00 carats, flanked by two square step cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.80 carats, to an elegant three stone design with curving claws, a linearpierced gallery and intricately shaped backholing, met on either side by inwardly tapering open shoulders smoothing down to solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1950, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #79197-91.
