Object Description
Burmese sapphire and diamond ring. Set with a cushion shape double brilliant natural unenhanced Burmese sapphire in an open back four claw setting with an approximate weight of 5.09 carats, flanked by eight round single cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.08 carats, to an elegant flanked solitaire design featuring curving double claws, a pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, the gently sloping shoulders leading through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, English, circa 1950, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5776-4337.
