Object Description
A small good quality English made mantel clock, dating to the early 20th Century. It has an domed top case, with boxwood stringing and figured bird’s eye maple veneers throughout. The cast brass bezel has a bevel edge glass with an engraved silvered dial and is signed by the original retailers Cave of Leamington Spa. It has an 8 day movement with a lever platform and was made by the renown firm of Gillet and Johnston of Croydon.
