Object Description

A fine quality 19th century burr walnut writing table,the kingwood crossbanded top having
panels profusely inlaid with flowers.The table standing on cabriole legs with fine ormolu mounts,the single drawer bearing the label of T Filmer and Sons ,34 Berner Street ,London

Object History

Filmer and Sons were exceptional cabinet makers from 1830 to 1870,they have a teapoy on exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

Object Condition

Excellent colour and patina,a very fine quality piece of furniture.
