Object Description
Cartier London black enamel and diamond set card case. A silver gilt and black enamel rectangular card case with hinged lid and diamond set latch, latch composed of seven graduating round old single cut diamonds with a combined weight of 0.10 carats and two round rose cut diamonds with a combined weight of 0.005 carats. Total approximate diamond weight of 0.105 carats, approximate dimensions of 8.3cm length, 6cm width and 0.9cm depth, weight approximately 105g. Tested silver gilt, maker’s mark ‘Cartier London’, with full assay marks, approximately 105g in weight, circa 1936.
