Object Description
A Celtiberian bronze bow brooch featuring an annular form with the pin catch attached to one side and the front cord to the other side. The bow, with a semi-dome element, arches over to the original pin which sits in the lateral perforation of the pin catch. Brooches such as this were widely popular, owing to their simplicity and ease of use, and remained commonplace until the Late Medieval period.
