Celtic La Tène Bronze Bow Fibula

Object Description

A well-preserved Celtic La Tène bow fibula cast in bronze. It features a highly arched bow leading to a bilateral spring with a complete and intact pin. The foot, connected to the catch-plate, extends upwards to the height of the bow and is enriched with two ribbed cylindrical knobs to the middle and tip.

Fine condition, with minor encrustation to the surface.
