Object Description
Ceylon star sapphire cufflinks. A matching pair of cufflinks, each centrally set with an oval cabochon natural unenhanced Ceylon star sapphire in an open back rubover setting within a linear plaque, two in total with a combined approximate weight of 4.60 carats, to an elegant design with smoothly conforming polished borders and open backholing, securely fitted to the reverse of each plaque by a singular link connected by an elongated bar to a solid plaque. Marked platinum, circa 1920, accompanied by Gem and Pearl Laboratory report #16526.
