Object Description

An unusual Chester hallmarked antique Edwardian sterling silver vesta case which has a rectangular body nicely engraved with leaves and swirls, a striking mechanism at the base and a ring attachment so that it can be worn if so desired. The hinged lid is opened by pressing the turquoise button on the front of the body which is a special feature of this appealing vesta case. This vesta case is one to add to a collection. It remains in excellent condition. When taking photographs, it is difficult to eliminate the reflection on silver.
