Object Description
A Chester hallmarked antique George V sterling silver trinket box which has an ornate hinged lid depicting a couple in an outdoor setting with flowers and scroll decoration. The main body is plain with patterned edging and it rests on four feet. The interior has been nicely re-lined to make it look more presentable. Although the hallmarks are clear and legible, the maker’s mark has been rubbed over time, the overall condition is excellent. This trinket box would make a useful addition to a Chester silver collection and an acceptable gift.
