Object Description
Circa 1900. A George III style mahogany grandmother clock. The simple hood with an arched top with a glazed door with an elegant small handle, flanked mahogany columns, the silvered face with Roman numerals, pierced hands with three winding holes, the clock strikes at every quarter, the top of the dial has an oval panel, engraved with ‘Tempus Fugit’, with a full-length mahogany door with a brass clasp, the base with a rectangular panel with canted corners and a shaped frieze, all resting on four squat bun feet. Clock is serviced and is working.
