Object Description
A very finely crafted Chinese Qing Dynasty agate bowl, featuring an elegant, curved profile. The vessel stands on a slightly raised, circular foot, from which the gently sloping walls gradually flare out into a wide opening with an everted rim. The stone presents with various shades, ranging from light ochre to brownish-orange, and has varying degrees of translucency, allowing the light to pass through showcasing the beautiful banded patterns which have been naturally formed.
