Object Description
A Chinese hollow-formed standing figure in calf-length robes from the Tang Dynasty. The hands are depicted in a reverent pose resting flat on the hip and chest. The figure is wearing a cap and likely traditional Tang dynasty attire. The statuette is rendered in sancai technique, displaying remnants of a lovely ochre glaze, which is most visible on the back of the figure.
