An extremely rare Chippendale Period Carved Mahogany Piecrust Tripod Table, the circular top and piecrust edge carved out of one piece of solid Mahogany, the birdcage support with four columns above a ring-turned baluster shaped column with carved leaf details, a concave socle above a pea and bean moulding, the whole raised on a tripod base with carved, clasped foliage details to the knees and carved foliage details to the feet.
