Clock Garniture Set by H Luppens et Cie
A late 19th century marble and gilt brass clock garniture set by Vincenti et Cie and H Luppens et Cie.
The white clock dial is marked H. Luppens & Cie, Bruxelles, who most probably made the case and garnitures and the works are marked ‘Médaille d’argent 1855 Vincenti et Cie’.
The works are an 8 day movement that strike the hour and half hour on a bell.
The clock is made from black marble with green and grey coloured veins with gilt brass mounts and an eagle to the top.
The pair of small candelabra side pieces are made to match.
The clock is in good working order and the side pieces are in good condition. (Circa 1890)
