Object Description
A wonderful mid size pigskin leather covered wooden shotgun cartridge case with two straps and brass corners, circa 1930. Has original felt lined lid with Cogswell & Harrison label and the base has original Rexine lined interior, with oak dividers, to house loose shells. A leather lifter is fitted to each of the divisions. Will hold at least two hundred 12 bore shotgun shells. Has name embossed into the leather on the lid, J.P. Ireson.
Dimensions: 40cm/ 15¾ inches (width) x 30cm/ 11¾ inches (depth) x 13cm/ 5⅛ inches (height).
