Object Description
Colombian emerald and diamond cluster ring. Centrally set with a rectangular emerald-cut natural Colombian emerald with no colour enhancement and insignificant clarity enhancement in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 1.70 carats, surrounded by a single row of eighteen round old mine diamonds in open back claw and grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.45 carats, to an elegant coronet cluster, framed to the centre with millegrain borders and featuring stylised claws, intricately pierced open gallery and fancy backholing, the raised open tri-split shoulders curve to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1920, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #78151-42.
