Object Description
Colombian emerald and diamond ring. Set to centre with a drop shape old cut natural Colombian emerald with no colour enhancement in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 2.39 carats, flanked by two tapered baguette cut diamonds in open back half rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.60 carats, to a flanked solitaire design featuring curving claws, a finely pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, the raised split shoulders flow through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold and platinum, English, circa 1970, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5775-2575.
