These mid-century column lamps in gunmetal and brass are defined by super chic smooth surfaces with a silky patina and constructed with sharp precise edges. The brass mounts are top quality as are the original fittings. Mid-Century French column lamp attributed to Maison Charles.
Lamps of simple outline, contrasting metal finishes, strict neo classicism defined the Maison Charles look of the Mid Century. With his two sons, Jean and Jacques together they created the ‘Style Charles’ synonymous with the brand. They explored new avenues and took inspiration from all around. Anything was possible, pineapples, corn on the cob, cactuses were celebrated for their shapes and contrast in their lighting range alongside the classical gunmetal and brass column lamps that I offer you today.
