Object Description
Conch pearl and diamond necklace. Set with an oval natural conch pearl, approximately 7.3 x 9.0 mm, suspended from five round old cut diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.15 carats, further set with ten round rose cut diamonds in closed back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.15 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.30 carats, to an elegant necklace flowing with movement, with scalloped surmount to the conch pearl, millegrain edges and fitted to top with a fine trace link chain, approximately 16″ in length with secure C-clasp. Pendant tested platinum and yellow gold, chain marked platinum, circa 1905, accompanied by Gem and Pearl Laboratory report #23034.
