Object Description

Cunha Portuguese Palissy Majolica wall plate which features five frogs on a grassy ground. Colouration: green, brown, cream, are predominant. The piece bears maker’s marks for the Cunha pottery.

Object Condition

Good. A few inconspicuous chips to the grassy ground. RESTORATION. Remodelled foot to one frog. Retouched flake to frog nose.
