Object Description
Here we have a rare small Welsh Oak Cwpwrdd Deuddarn c1790. As you can see the cupboard has exceptional colour and patina. There is a typical overextended moulded top. Less typical is the beautiful inlaid Ebony decoration to the frieze. There are stunning and intact turned drop finials to the top and fielded panel doors below. Inside the top is an open cupboard space to the left and a very rare original plate rack and drawers to the right. There are two drawers to the centre and two fielded panel cupboard doors to the base with internal open cupboard space with a single original shelf. This is probably the most original cupboard of its type that we have had through our showroom. There are fielded panels to the sides and of course the whole is of pegged mortice and tenon construction. A super period piece in excellent retail condition ready for your home. the dimensions are approx 180 cm high 99 cm wide 55 cm deep.
