Delphin Massier Majolica Rooster/Cockerel Figural Vase

Object Description

Delphin Massier French Majolica figural vase which features an exquisitely colourful rooster/cockerel, standing in front of a bamboo-effect vase. Colouration: yellow, teal blue green, are predominant. The piece bears maker’s marks for the Delphin Massier pottery.

Object Condition

Good. RESTORATION. Stabilised and retouched cracks to the rooster’s comb. Three filled chips to the rim of the vase. A few filled chips to the tail feathers. A few retouched flakes.
