Object Description
Diamond and sapphire flanked solitaire ring. Set with a cushion shape old cut diamond, G colour, VS1 clarity, with an approximate weight of 1.03 carats in an open back four claw setting, further set with two D-shape old cut natural unenhanced sapphires in open back rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.50 carats, to an elegant flanked solitaire design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, flanked by trumpeting shoulders flowing through to a solid slim shank. Marked platinum, English, circa 1920, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5777-7281.
