Set to centre with a cushion shape old mine diamond in an open back grain setting with an approximate weight if 0.65 carats, further set with twenty-eight cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back grain settings, with a approximate combined weight of 3.95. The total approximate diamond weight is 4.57 carats, to an impressive cross design featuring polished borders and fancy open backholing, fitted to top with a oval bale, pendant approximately 3.0 cm in length, tested yellow gold and silver, circa 1860.
