Object Description
Circa 1900. A top-quality mahogany double fronted open bookcase. The solid top with ribbed fore-edge, simple frieze and beading beneath, two sections each with four adjustable shelves. The shelves are finished with a reeded mahogany facing, there is a further moulded beaded section in the base, and the bookcase stands on an enclosed plinth. Between the top and all the shelves there is approximately 11 linear meters of shelf space.
