A very stylish Aesthetic Movement Doulton Lambeth tube lined stylized floral vase by renowned designer and decorator Eliza Simmance dated 1884. The tall stoneware vase stands raised on a raised shaped round pedestal base decorated with incised petal designs with a tall round bulbous body, narrow neck and bowl shaped top rim with similar patterning and coloring to the foot. The body of the vase is decorated with stylized tube lined fruiting floral designs with scrolling intertwined leaves repeated three times around the body with a stylized leaf design around the lower body. The vase is hand decorated in tones of blue and brown with white tones to the flowers. The vase has impressed makers marks to the base along with an incised ES monogram for Eliza Simmance with assistant marks for Mary A Barrett and Georgina White. The vase is dated 1884.
