Object Description
Here we have arare and outstanding George III burr Oak dresser or sideboard c1790. As you can see the dresser has the most amazing colour and patina. There is a straight grain plank top with fruitwood crossbanding to the edge. The drawers have cockbeaded edges and fruitwood cross banding. They also have hand cut dovetail joints and original turned wooden handles. The drawers and cupboard doors have the most beautiful burr Oak fronts which is a very rare feature. The cupboards open to reveal the original green Georgian paint. The sides are panelled and the whole sits on bracket feet. A truly wonderful dresser in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 176 cm long 43 cm deep 93 cm high.
