Object Description
Drop shape old mine diamond and Colombian emerald ring. Set to the centre with a drop shape old mine diamond, F colour, VS2 clarity, with a weight of 1.56 carats, flanked by two drop shape old cut natural Colombian emeralds with minor clarity enhancement in open back claw settings, with an approximate combined weight of 0.80 carats, to a three stone design, featuring curving claws, an intricate pierced gallery with scrolling motifs and fancy shaped backholing, leading to inwardly tapering shoulders with cheniers and flowing through to a solid shank. Tested yellow gold and platinum, circa 1920, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #2231546946 and Gemmological Certification Services report #80265-53.
