Object Description

A fine and extremely good quality George IV large circular soup tureen decorated with superb naturalistic feet and handles. The bulbous bowl is plain formed in design and is mounted with a shell and gadroon decorative wire border. The detachable domed lid has stylish swirl flute decoration and is crowned with a stunning ‘eagle’ finial. The centre front has a beautiful hand engraved contemporary armorial.
