A good19th Century dark faux rosewood / ebonised bobbin armchair with brass castors stamped ‘Patent/Strong’ original squab seat.
English circa 1835.
This armchair is definitely one the better bobbin armchairs we have come across. Good proportions and well constructed beech frame with original dark faux rosewood / ebonised finish, padded armrests, raised on turned front legs and fine quality original patented brass cup castors and rears stamped ‘Patent/Strong’ .
Newly upholstered in a natural linen fabric
