An early 19th century English carved limewood neoclassical frieze panel, circa 1800. This decorative wooden panel is over a metre long and features five putti or cherubs carved in the neoclassical style, carrying out various activities among trees. Likely once part of an original Georgian fireplace or a decorative overdoor more than 220 years ago, this carved antique panel today makes a beautiful decorative frieze for interior display, making an interesting feature on a wall.
