Object Description

Good quality solid elm 19th century Anglo-Indian iron strapped chest / trunk dating to circa 1820.
Constructed from solid elm with iron banding and strapwork wrapping around the entire piece in a very decorative manner. Having a double catch lock to the front and carrying handles to the sides the trunk opens to reveal a very useful storage space.
This well-proportioned chest trunk has an excellent colour and patina whilst being finished to all sides making it the perfect coffee table.
Offered in excellent condition this is a very good quality solid Anglo-Indian chest with a superb colour.
