A handsome carpet, with an understated palette and monochrome drawing, inspired by the works of Art Nouveau and Arts and Crafts designers of its era, like those of William Morris and Harry Napper.
It features a simple, stamped abstract motif, repeated across a soft ivory field, in a two-tone colour scheme with earthy, autumnal shades of tan and light green – an elegant, open layout, that lends the carpet a sense of space and balance.
A sophisticated piece, in very good to excellent condition, well suited to either a contemporary or more classic interior.
