Object Description
This Charles II silver child’s rattle, whistle and teether was made C1680 and is marked with the makers mark of IR, it measures 4 3/8 inches in length and has 4 plain and original bells on figure of 8 links and there is a ring for the ribbon, it also is scratch engraved where the coral is fitted and above the bell ring, one of the bells is slightly pushed in on top so has a small seam split but nothing serious, it is a very nice early rattle in very good condition weighing 1.10 ounces or 34grams.
