Object Description
Circa1810. A late George III mahogany Pembroke/work table by ‘Bruce and Burns of Edinburgh’. The diminutive table with finely figured mahogany top with string inlay, two flaps with rounded corners, held open by wooden hinges, with a full-length drawer with a heraldic escutcheon, the top of the drawer with the name clearly stamped, beneath the drawer, there is a chequered inlay, resting on four elegant square tapering legs with string inlay including an arched top, finishing on a brass cup and original brass castors.
