Object Description
A daring and singular antique ruby and diamond ring. The large natural old mine cut diamond in the centre displays a clear and distinct champagne tone, the colour of which is highlighted by the two pair of blood-red natural rubies either side. A smaller old mine cut diamond sits at the outer edge of the cluster. All seven of the gems are claw set in platinum and sit on a slender 18k yellow gold shank.

Cut – Old mine cut diamonds and round cut rubies.
Colour – The centre diamond is O/P, and the outer diamonds L to M.
Clarity – The centre diamond is SI2. The outer diamonds are SI2 to I1.
Carat – The centre diamond is approximately 1.25 carat, with a further approximate 0.08 carat of diamonds in the sides. The total approximate ruby weight is 1.20 carat.
Circa – 1905.
Measurements – From the edge of one outer diamond to the other is 18.3mm. The ring is 8.4mm at the widest point and sits 4.4mm from the finger.
