Edwardian Bell Top Chinoiserie Mantel Clock
Chinoiserie decorated mantel clock housed in a bell top case with raised scenes on a red ground, raised stepped plinth resting on four block feet surmounted by a brass carrying handle.
Brass bezel with convex glass opening to the enamel dial with Roman numerals and original ‘blued’ steel hands.
French eight day movement with platform escapement striking the hours and halves on a silvered bell, marked J.D and numbered 443. C.1900

Object Condition

very good condition, the clock movement has been completely stripped down and overhauled and is in full working order
