Object Description
Edwardian Burmese sapphire and diamond cluster ring. Set to the centre with a cushion shape old cut natural and unenhanced Burmese sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 4.50 carats, further set with fifteen cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 2.00 carats, to an elegant coronet cluster design featuring curving claws, intricately pierced gallery and fancy shape open back holing, flanked by trumpeting shoulders with grooved detailing, flowing through to a solid tapering shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, English, circa 1910, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #81299-45.
