Object Description
Edwardian Ceylon sapphire and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to center with a single cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Ceylon sapphire in an open back claw setting witn an approximate weight of 5.58 carats, encircled by fourteen cushion shape old mine diamonds in an open back grain settings with an approximate combined weight of 1.20 carats, to a oval coronet cluster design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and fancy shape open backholing, flanked by trampeting tri-split shouders flowing through to a solid tapering D-shape shank. Tested platinum and 18 carat yellow gold, English, circa 1915.
