Edwardian Chinoiserie Decorated Mantel Clock, Asprey, London.

Edwardian mantel clock housed in a bell top case with raised chinoiserie scenes on a green ground resting on gilded block feet and surmounted by a brass carrying handle.
Silvered dial with engine turned centre, Arabic numerals and original ‘blued’ steel hands signed ‘Asprey, London’.
Eight day French movement with platform escapement, integral winding key and hand setting knob. C.1910

Object Condition

very good condition, the clock movement has been completely stripped down and overhauled and is in full working order
