Object Description

Edwardian mantel clock housed in a break arch case with raised chinoiserie decoration on a black ground and resting on a wavy plinth.
Brass bezel opening to the silvered dial with engine turned centre, Arabic numerals and original ‘blued’ steel hands.
Eight day French movement with platform escapement striking the hours and halves on a coiled gong. C.1910

Object Condition

very good condition, the clock movement has been completely stripped down and overhauled and is in full working order
