Object Description
Edwardian Colombian emerald and diamond crossover ring. Set to centre with a single square emerald-cut natural Colombian emerald with no colour enhancement and minor clarity enhancement in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 2.50 carats, flanked by two round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.75 carats, further adorned with seventy-eight round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.75 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.50 carats to a decorative crossover design featuring bow embellishment, millegrain edging, an intricately engraved gallery with a foliate motif and fancy open backholing, leading to tapered shoulders with ridged detail flowing through to a smooth D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1915, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #78207-30.
