Object Description
Edwardian diamond and sapphire target ring. Set centrally with a round old cut diamond in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 1.10 carats, encircled by a row of sixteen tapered baguette cut natural unenhanced sapphires in open back rubover and channel settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.20 carats, to an attractive target cluster design featuring millegrain edging, a finely pierced gallery with scalloped detail and fancy open backholing, flanked by tapered trumpeting split shoulders flowing through to a solid slim D-shape shank. Tested platinum, English, circa 1915.
