Object Description
Edwardian diamond pendant. Centrally set with a round old cut diamond in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 0.80 carats, further adorned with forty eight cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings with a combined weight of 1.10 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.90 carats, to an elegant openwork design composed of two concentric circles, flowing with movement, featuring millegrain edging, a pierced gallery and open backholing, suspended from an oval pendant bale, pendant approximately 3cm in length, the fine trace link chain approximately 16.5″ in length. Tested platinum, circa 1915.
